There is a fee for weddings and these vary depending upon your own specific requirements. Please contact the parish office for information about fees.
The legal bit…
To be married at St. Nicolas, it is necessary for at least one of you to have one of the following connections to the Church:
- Live in the Parish;
- Be a regular worshipper at the church;
- Be named on the Church Electoral Roll;
- Have a ‘Qualifying Connection’ by which you can be married at St Nicolas Church.
Preparing for your Wedding…
You will be invited to attend two wedding preparation meetings. The first will be a general introduction to marriage. At the second preparation meeting you will have the opportunity to finalise the arrangements for your wedding and book a rehearsal date.
To make an enquiry or book…
Please contact the Parish Office or come along to one of our Office Hours every first and third Saturday of the month between 9.30am and 10.30am. To book a wedding a deposit of £100 will be required.
To Publicise Banns…
If you need Banns publishing at St Nicolas Church, please contact the parish office as soon as possible. We need to publicise banns at three consecutive Sunday services before we can issue the certificate, so please give plenty of notice. There is a small fee for this service.
Weddings
St Nicolas is a beautiful setting in the heart of Nuneaton. We offer a traditional Christian wedding service in our newly refurbished Church, with seating capacity for up to 200 guests.
