Activities

Choir

The Choir consists of 30 or so members; choristers (boys and girls aged 7 to 16 years and usually singing treble), young people and adults who sing soprano, alto, tenor or bass.

The Choir meet on Wednesday and Friday, and lead the worship at alternate Sunday morning services and other occasions. They enjoy a lively social diary and an annual singing weekend in Bridlington performing at Bridlington Priory.

The Church is affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music and Choir members receive excellent musical training, using the scheme, ‘Voice for Life’.

If you are interested in joining the Choir you are welcome to come and see a practice in action. The Choir Director is always pleased to meet people, who love singing, and is always ready to welcome new members of all ages.

Singing Group

The Singing Group meets every other Wednesday (10.30am -12 noon) to enjoy worship, teaching and singing together. From this base we bring worship, praise and modern worship songs to Family Service and other Church meetings.  New faces are always welcome.

Open Doors Drop-in

An informal coffee morning meeting every Friday in the community hall between 10 am and 12 pm.

House Groups

These are gatherings of people from St Nicolas who meet regularly to discuss aspects of the Christian faith and offer the opportunity to help your Christian faith mature.
